Whether you are a sturdy tank, a fragile cloth-wearer, or a dedicated healer, Valeera is the key to crushing Delves during the Early Access on February 27.
1. Choosing the Right Role for Your Class
Valeera is highly adaptive. To maximize your efficiency, match her role to your spec’s weakness:
- For Tanks (e.g., Blood DK, Prot Paladin): Set Valeera to Damage. She provides the high-ST (Single Target) burst and execution power that tanks often lack, allowing you to pull massive packs while she picks off the elites.
- For DPS (e.g., Mage, Hunter, Rogue): Set Valeera to Healer/Support. Her Vampiric Reaping creates Blood Orbs on the ground. This allows you to stay offensive without having to stop and eat between pulls.
- For Healers (e.g., Resto Druid, Holy Priest): Set Valeera to Damage. In Midnight, Valeera’s damage scales with the healer’s output, making her a “blender” that clears the room while you keep her buffed.
2. Universal Power Leveling Abilities
Regardless of your class, these three abilities make Valeera the best leveling companion we’ve ever had:
- No Witnesses (Haste Buff): Valeera grants a +20% Haste buff. If any enemy dies while this is active, the timer resets.
- Pro Tip: Don’t kill everything at once. Space out your kills to keep this 20% Haste active for the entire run.
- Vampiric Smoke Screen: She creates a cloud of red Revendreth-style mist. Standing in this mist grants 10% Damage Reduction and 5% Leech.
- Ambush Specialist: Valeera remains in Stealth until you attack. This makes skipping unnecessary trash mobs much easier than it was with Brann.
