Did you grab your cheese platter yesterday? While the war against the Void rages on in the Midnight expansion, a completely different battle has erupted in the living rooms of Azeroth. The hunt for “Daily Decor” is officially on!
What used to be worthless “gray trash” that you dumped at the nearest vendor is now the centerpiece of your Player House. From the streets of Dalaran to the canals of Stormwind: decoration items are the new endgame.
Step 1: The Great Cheese Craze (The Eversong Platter)
The massive hype yesterday was the Eversong Party Platter. Players flocked to Northrend for a simple cooking quest. Why? Because this item can now be permanently placed in your home as a luxury cheese board.
- Horde: Pick up your quest from Awilo Lon’gomba (Sunreaver’s Sanctuary, Dalaran).
- Alliance: Report to Katherine Lee (Silver Enclave, Dalaran).
- The Mission: Complete the “Cheese for Glowergold” daily. Instead of just turning it in, the system now unlocks this object as a decoration for your collection!
Step 2: Where to Find Today’s “Daily Decor”?
It’s not just about cheese. There are daily rotations that determine which furniture or decorative piece you can obtain. Here is where you should be looking:
- The Master Chef: Complete the Cooking Dailies in capital cities (Stormwind/Orgrimmar) and Dalaran every day. You have a chance to find Wine Glasses, Rough Stone Grinders, and even small Cutting Boards.
- The Master Angler: Fishing Dailies now frequently drop ‘gray’ loot like Water-Logged Recipes or Rusty Buckets. Since the Midnight pre-patch, you can fill these buckets with flowers or water in your own home.
- The Black Market & Community: Keep an eye on the Facebook groups and the Secret Finding Discord. Every morning at 09:00 AM (EU reset), the community reveals which unique decoration item is available as a “Daily Reward.”
Step 3: Make Your House “Slayer-Proof”
As a member of the Slayer Alliance, you don’t want to live in an empty hall. Collecting these items isn’t just for looks; it increases the prestige of your guild quarters and personal space.
PRO TIP: Do you have “Trivial Quests” hidden? Turn them on immediately on your minimap! Since we are level 80, the exclamation marks for these old decoration quests won’t show up above NPCs otherwise.
The Future: What’s Coming Tomorrow?
Rumor has it that a decorative “Silver Cutlery Set” will be available tomorrow through the dailies in Shattrath. Be ready, as these items are often only available for 24 hours before the rotation shifts again.
